Dayton AC gearmotors are used in peristaltic pumps, food service equipment and CNC machines. These gearmotors consist of a motor, gear and bearings that work together to generate high-intensity torque at a low speed.
Dayton AC gearmotors are used for windshield wipers, power seats, power windows and power winches on trucks. These gearmotors are integrated with ball bearings for low rotational friction and feature TENV / TEFC / open enclosures to prevent motor overheating. They offer a maximum torque of 941 inch-lb and allow parallel & right angle shaft rotation. These gearmotors have powder coated / gloss powder coated finish for corrosion resistance and are available in 1 & 3 phase configurations.

Dayton AC gearmotors utilise a 115V AC power source to operate a variety of high-power applications, such as conveyor toasters, pumps, X-ray equipment, water softeners, amusement devices, valve actuators, displays, security systems and food equipment. These gearmotors consist of a motor, gear and bearings, that work together to generate high intensity torque at a low speed. They feature die cast zinc housing for excellent corrosion resistance and automatic motor thermal protection for safety during stalls or overload conditions. They come with open vented / TEFC enclosures for keeping the motor safe from overheating and moisture. Selected models are integrated with a disc brake that decelerates the speed and stops the driven machine instantly. Choose from an extensive range of these shaded pole gearmotors, available in 130 and 150 inch-lb torque ratings.

Dayton AC gearmotors provide enough force required to operate a variety of high-power equipment, such as lifts, pumps, X-ray equipment, water softeners, amusement devices, valve actuators, displays, security systems, food equipment and medical tables. These units consist of a motor, gear and bearings, working together to generate high-intensity torque at relatively low speed, thus providing a quiet operation. They feature die-cast aluminium housing for excellent corrosion resistance and lip-type seal (installed on input & output shafts) to retain lubrication and prevent ingress of contaminants. They further have TENV / TEFC enclosure for keeping the motor safe from overheating and moisture. Choose from an extensive range of these AC gearmotors, available in starting torques ranging between 12 and 72 in-lb.

Totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) motors are designed without air openings and are ideal for applications where frequent sanitising or cleaning is required. TEFC (totally enclosed fan-cooled) motors come with an external fan to circulate outside air to the motor.
A gear motor modifies the motor's speed and torque to suit the application by adding mechanical gears, improving torque while decreasing speed. The non-geared motors limit the speed in multiple applications.
All Dayton motors are provided with full fact nameplates having easy-to-read wiring diagrams, reducing installation time and preventing miswiring.
