Dayton general purpose AC motors are designed to operate in high torque applications, ideal for non-hazardous applications, such as compressors, fans, conveyors, pumps, material handling and machine tools. Unlike single-phase models, these units do not require start / run capacitors or centrifugal switches that may fail or wear, causing issues like motor shutdown, overheating and vibrations. They have rolled steel frames for durability and ball bearings for a smooth and continuous operation.
