Akro-Mils ESD containers are designed to create a safe and convenient storage system for part handling and retrieval. They are made of molded ESD for dissipating electrostatic charges which can severely damage sensitive electronic components. They have very low carbon content and do not leave a black residue on parts. These containers feature a full-width hanger lip to support heavy loads and reinforced side ribs to prevent side-wall spreading. They have a large label slot for easy bar code scanning, and a curved bottom for retrieval of small parts.

They are made of carbon-filled copolymer polypropylene to protect stored electrical items from induced or electrostatic fields, offering electrostatic decay rate of less than 0.1 second.
