Dayton rectangular fire dampers are fire protection frames employed in ventilation, heating and air conditioning ducts to stop the spread of fire inside the ductwork. Dayton fire dampers prevent the spread of flames and provide additional time to vacate the building. These units have sleeves to regulate the amount of airflow through each section of HVAC systems and are located in areas that are accessible for adjustments (as required). They can withstand temperatures up to 165 degrees F and are available in static and dynamic mounting styles.
