Features

These Apollo safety valves have stainless steel springs for durability and corrosion resistance.
They come with a Teflon / metal-to-metal seating for a reliable and tight sealing.
These safety valves feature a tapped body drain to allow piping of condensate with optimum safety.
Apollo 19 Series safety valves feature a wide wrenching hex for easy and quick installations. These relief valves come with a high-capacity full nozzle design in six orifice sizes for optimum performance. They are equipped with two control rings for enhanced adjustability and performance. These Apollo relief valves are short tuned blowdown designs for minimised product loss. They offer factory set pressures ranging from 5 to 300 psig and can withstand a maximum temperature of 406 degrees F.
Apollo 29 Series safety valves come in set pressure ratings ranging from 30 to 200 psig. These safety valves have a maximum temperature rating of 406 degrees F and feature a rust-proofed steel stem and spring washers for structural rigidity and corrosion resistance. They are equipped with a lower control ring for short and consistent blowdown.

Working Mechanism

When the pressure within a system increases to a pre-set level, it triggers the safety valve.

The safety valve's spring-loaded mechanism begins to lift the valve disk off its seat.

As the valve disk lifts, it creates an opening for the pressurised fluid or gas to escape.

The escaping fluid or gas lowers the pressure inside the system.

Once the pressure reduces to the set limit, the spring forces the valve disk back onto its seat, sealing the valve shut.

The safety valve prevents the system from exceeding safe pressure levels, safeguarding equipment and personnel.
