Dayton upblast ventilators are centrifugal belt-drive ventilators to exhaust fumes, grease-laden vapours, foul air and odours out of working spaces, schools and warehouses. These upblast ventilators have an aluminum windband welded to the base to give them a virtually leakproof design. Dayton's upblast ventilators feature internal steel support braces and a fully rolled windband to improve the rigidity of the ventilators for transport & installation. Their motors, drive frames and wheels are isolated from the mounting base by neoprene studs for reducing the overall noise. The motor compartment is isolated from polluted air and is cooled from the outside air pulled inside by the spinning of the wheel. Dayton's direct driven upblast ventilators are equipped with electronically commutated motor (ECM) technology, a variable speed motor and a potentiometer dial pre-mounted on the motor to control the speed of the ventilator, allow up to 80 per cent useable turndown and remove the need for speed control. Dayton assembled upblast ventilators are ideal for use in schools, restaurants and commercial & industrial applications to exhaust out foul air and smell. They come with internal steel support braces and a fully rolled windband to improve the rigidity of the ventilator for superior stability while installation and transport. The motor compartment of these vents are confined from the contaminated air stream and cooled by outside air that is pulled-in through an oversized breather tube. Dayton upblast ventilators are roof-mounted for exhausting heat and grease-laden effluents from commercial and industrial kitchens. These units feature a fully rolled aluminium windband that creates a positive leakproof seal between the ventilator and the mounting surface. In addition, these windbands along with internal steel support braces offer great rigidity and stability during transportation and installation needs. They have independent neoprene studs to keep mounting bases isolated from the motor, drive frame and wheel components. These upblast ventilators feature belt-drive mechanism for flexibility in speeds and motor selections ranging from 735 to 1050 rpm and 3/2 to 3 hp, respectively. Selected models come unassembled for optimising the ventilators as per the application requirement.
ADayton upblast ventilators are used for exhausting contaminated air, fumes and odour from commercial and industrial kitchens. These units feature leakproof seals to prevent ingress of contaminants and have internal steel braces w/ a fully rolled aluminium windband to increase rigidity and allow greater stability during shipment & installation. Neoprene studs fit in between the assembly (motor, drive frame and wheel) to avoid metal to metal contact and significantly reduce overall noise. They also feature NEMA 1 junction box to protect wiring connections and roof curbs to provide easy installation. Choose from an array of these belt-drive upblast ventilators, available in 34, 42 and 46 inch base lengths.
