Air System International whip check air hose safety cables are used for connecting hoses across a high-pressure coupling to prevent them from whipping around if the connection fails. They create a bridge between each side of a hose fitting to create an added layer of safety.

Whip check safety cables include spring-loaded loops that provide a firm grip to support the hoses, allowing minimum damage to equipment and eliminating the risk of operator injury.
Installation of whip check safety cable is easy and requires no tool. The spring-loaded loops of the cable are opened and slipped over each hose to provide stable support and avoid it from whipping in excessive pressure conditions.
The two types of whip checks are 'hose to hose' and 'hose to equipment'.
It acts as a fail-safe to keep pressurised hoses in one place when decoupling occurs.
