Dayton pressure washer pumps are designed for high-pressure water applications, including sewer jetting & car washing. These units are available in lengths ranging from 6.3 to 13 inches on Raptor Supplies.
Dayton pressure washer pumps are designed for high-pressure water applications, including sewer jetting, car washing & cooling misting. These pumps feature splash / oil bath lubrication to reduce friction & wear, and are equipped with ceramic / SST plungers for excellent thermal shock resistance. They deliver a maximum speed of 3450 rpm and are available in lengths ranging from 6.3 to 13 inches.
Working Mechanism
A retracting plunger creates suction at the liquid end, allowing the suction valve to open.
The medium enters the liquid end, allowing the plunger to advance.
The plunger displaces the available volume by increasing the pressure of the fluid to be pumped.
Features
These pumps have splash / oil bath lubrication to reduce friction & wear, and ceramic / SST plungers for superior thermal shock resistance.
The anodised, precision cast cooling fins provide maximum heat dissipation.
The positive alignment and centring (in relation to the crankcase) ensure that the oversized needle bearings on the drive side, ball bearings on the non-drive side and precision supports, are all properly aligned.
The Ultra-Form valve cages provide positive seating.
The one-piece connecting rods are made of a special aluminium alloy for strength and load distribution.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do pressure washer pumps fail?
A faulty unloader valve and a clogged carburettor are the two most common causes of pressure washer pump failure (in the case of gas-powered washers).
What is the maximum discharge pressure of these pumps?
These pumps are capable of discharging at pressure up to 2500 psi.
