Destaco pneumatic swing clamp arms feature a block style body to allow the attachment of multiple mounting accessories. They are equipped with clamp arms featuring tapped holes to accommodate spindle accessories, thereby enabling easy surface mounting.
Pneumatic swing clamps are designed for clamping of workpieces in the aerospace, automotive and food & packaging industries. They are ideal for applications that require only low clamping force, and keep the clamping area free of straps & clamping components, for unrestricted workpiece loading and unloading.
To determine whether the left or right swing variant is ideal, you need to visualise the arm from above during the clamping stroke. Arms moving clockwise are right hand swing arms and arms moving counter-clockwise are left hand swing arms.
Pneumatic swing clamps require spindles (flat tip, swivel foot or hex head), flanges, replacement seal kits, clamping arm adapters and end mounting feet assemblies for proper and smooth functioning.
