Buna-N seals offer excellent resistance to petroleum-based oils and fuels, silicone greases, hydraulic fluids and water. They create a barrier between the moving component and the port to prevent leakage and ingress of contaminants.
It is the minimum pressure required to cause a valve to transition from a closed position to an open position and start the flow of fluid.
A bonnet helps to cover and protect the valve's internal components, such as the stem, seat and actuator, for maintenance and repair. In addition, the bonnet is also designed to provide additional pressure containment, ensuring that the valve operates safely even under high-pressure conditions.
