Eaton DBA Series expulsion fuses are used in electrical systems to prevent damage due to overcurrent conditions. They utilise an expulsion element (boric acid) to safely remove the fuse from the circuit in the event of a faulty condition. They have a compact design that helps conserve space in electrical panels and equipment. These fuses feature an instant-acting DE-ION circuit interruption and a mechanical dropout action that provides a 180-degree air break. This mechanism allows circuit protection to higher voltage ratings, as well as, at the same time, offers short circuit protection for systems of moderate capacity. Read Less
