Eaton offers both fixed and adjustable setpoint AC switches.
How to adjust the setpoint of these switches?
The CurrentWatch ECS Series switches' setpoint is adjusted with a four / fifteen-turn potentiometer.
- Turn the pot to the minimum setpoint (four or fifteen turns clockwise).
- Run the switch's normal operating current through it.
- The output should be tripped, since the pot is at its minimum setpoint.
- Until the LED begins to flash slowly, rotate the pot counterclockwise until the device un-trips.
- Now turn the pot clockwise slowly until the unit trips again.
- It is now set at the current level being monitored.

Users can connect, control or monitor the sensor by using up to 14 AWG copper wires.
