Hoffman enclosures are used for protecting electrical & electronic components from environmental conditions and electrical shocks. These NEMA-rated units feature metallic (carbon steel / SS) or non-metallic (fibreglass, polyester or polycarbonate) construction for added strength and excellent chemical & temperature resistance. They come equipped with a 3-point latch, quick-release latches and a slotted flush screw design assuring a water-tight seal. Hoffman hinged enclosures feature a 3-point latching system with a Powerglide handle to provide easy opening / closing of the unit and prevent unauthorised access as well as improve security.
A compression-moulded fibreglass material has excellent temperature and chemical resistance. This material is durable and can be easily punched, drilled, filed or sawed.
