These AC motors have a keyed shaft design. The load is connected to the motor using a key. The key is fitted into the motor's shaft and the slot on the load connection.
These motors have sealed ball bearings. They do not require lubrication even after extended periods & usage.
It is recommended to install these motors in a horizontal position. They have a rigid base with threaded holes for securely fitting the motor on a flat surface.
