To ensure the motor is running smoothly, keep checking the internal parts regularly / occasionally and use lubricated sealed bearings to work on overloads and exhibit low friction.
In rigid base mounting, the motor is connected to the frame of the equipment by bolts and fasteners. This type of mounting reduces excessive vibrations caused during motor start-up and provides an accurate alignment between the motor and the surrounding mechanisms.
SF stands for service factor, designed as a standard number to determine how much a motor can be loaded intermittently within the highest temperature range.
