Oil Safe Tritan acrylic columns are used to indicate oil level in reservoirs and drain ports. They are made from impact-resistant PMMA, which is lighter and more durable than glass. They provide the same level of clarity as glass, making them ideal for outdoor use. These columns bond well with both adhesives & solvents, and do not produce harmful smoke or gases in the presence of flames (they are slow-burning & self-extinguishing). Tritan is a type of copolyester that is tough and BPA-free, used in various industrial products. It is impact and shatter-resistant and stays clear & durable even after repeated use.
Drain ports allow easy draining of condensate from cooling systems. The best location for a drain port is the lowest part of the loop so that gravity makes most of the coolant drain out by itself.
