Rigid pipe threading machines are employed to thread ends for attaching pipes and fittings in water lines, sprinkler systems and gas lines. These units have a large oil reservoir with a storage capacity of 1.75 gallons and a huge chip tray for continuous threading run time. They are provided with a top cover with large compartments for comfortably accessing tools. they further have a speed chuck having rocker action jaws for superior gripping. These machines are further equipped with an integral footswitch for hands-free on / off switch operations and are available in reversing and non-reversing variants.
NPT stands for National Pipe Thread Tapered which is the U.S. standard for tapered threads designed to join pipes and fittings.
The die head sizes used in this machine range from 1/8 to 4 inches.
