Square D LA Series circuit breakers are primarily designed for automatically opening a circuit under current overloads and short-circuit conditions. These units feature a fixed thermal-magnetic trip, with interrupting ratings of 42kA @ 120VAC, 30kA @ 480VAC and 22kA @ 600 VAC, providing instantaneous and time-delayed functions. The molded case of these C-curve protectors hold the current-carrying components, trip devices and other mechanisms within a very small space.
