The vulcanised rubber is a good shock absorber and withstands high impact forces and abrasion caused by striking the hammer head against different surfaces. The flexible material, when combined with steel, enhances durability and provides excellent wear & tear resistance.
These sledge hammers feature a tethering point on the head which allows the user to secure the hammer to a lanyard or other secure point, preventing accidental drops and injury.
