Yellow Jacket charging hoses are used to service the refrigerant content in ammonia lines, cylinder valves and fuel oil assemblies. These hoses are designed with a moisture barrier to provide enhanced resistance to moisture migration, which, as a result may contaminate expensive refrigerants. The nylon permeation barrier of these Yellow Jacket hoses adheres to SAE requirements J2196 for CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants. These valves are designed for opening / closing a system in flow control applications. They include a valve body, two seats, a stem and handle, a bonnet and a ball that allows full flow for charging and recovery of refrigerants.
These low-loss fittings immediately trap refrigerant in the hose when disconnected and prevent potential hazards.
Metal handle at the end of the hose is designed to fit tight areas and trap all the gas present to prevent blowout.
