The outer cover has a unique rubber coating which seals the cushion after installation to prevent condensation.
Cush-A-Therm clamps have hermetically sealed and crush-resistant cushions that prevent condensation leaks and vibrations. They possess no air gaps, thus preventing energy transfer. Plastic clamps, on the other hand, do not maintain a thermal barrier, allowing rust to develop. They provide minimal protection against vibrations and must be cut to install.
Thermal insulation barrier provides thermal insulation between cooled components and hot gas temperatures, thereby reducing stress and fatigue and increasing the part's lifespan.
