- Imprint the inner diameter of the pipe by pressing paper against the edge of the pipe. Then fold so that it makes a 90-degree angle.
- Cut a circle around the impression that is roughly one-third the diameter of the pipe.
- Slit the paper into segments of about 1 to 2 inches, starting at the position of 12 o'clock, then 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and so forth.
- Cut Aquasol water soluble tape into slips. Place the dam made of slit Aquasol water-soluble paper within the pipe. Tape pieces are used along the entire perimeter to secure the dam.
