Conrader BLG 135-150 piloted unloader valve combines both a pilot valve & an unloader valve to continuously operate equipment at constant speeds. It is suitable for use in gas engine air compressors or electric motor-driven air compressors in applications without intake unloaders. This valve has an unloader pilot valve body with a discharge unloader for sensing system pressure and venting air to the atmosphere.
Working Mechanism:
- When pressure increases in a system and reaches the unload condition, the pilot valve opens up and pressurises the unloader valve. This opens the unloader valve and vents out the excess air from the compressor to the atmosphere.
- When the compressed air gets used & the pressure in the system decreases till the load pressure, the pilot valve closes and depressurises the unloader valve. This closes the unloader valve and the pressure starts building again in the system and repeats the cycle.
