AC gearmotors provide sufficient force to operate lifts, medical tables, jacks & robots. They are found in truck power winches, windshield wiper motors, power seats & power windows. Dayton 1LPN8 AC gearmotor is ideal for fixed or variable-speed velocity control applications.

Working Mechanism:

• Gear motor slows the rotation of the gears and generates torque.
• Reduction shaft connects it to the main shaft & the motor rotor (also known as the armature).
• Reduction shaft is also outfitted with reduction gears that connect to the gearbox or series of gears.
• The higher the number of reduction gears, the lower the output of the final gear.
• A gear motor's winding (or coils) is insulated wires wrapped around the motor's core that receive or generate electromagnetic energy.

• Dayton 1LPN8 gearmotor featuring clockwise facing output shaft that delivers torque up to 113 inch-lb.
• Ball on the motor to pass current radially between inner & outer tracks and produce circular motion.
