Milwaukee Valve MCR300IVP1HT electric actuator is designed to operate valves in power generation, chemical and petrochemical applications.
Features:
- This rotary motorised valve is used to remotely control quarter-turn valves, such as ball and butterfly valves.
- Its motor generates torque up to 1500 inch-lb, which is transmitted to turn the valve direction (open / close).
- It is equipped with thermal overload protection to guard the motor against damage from overheating.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. What is the advantage of the NEMA 4 enclosure?
A. NEMA 4 rating for outdoor electrical enclosures determines that a gasket should protect against liquid & solid contaminants. It also allows superior corrosion resistance.
Q. How to install the electric actuator in a Milwaukee valve?
A.
- Manually open the valve and remove its mechanical stops.
- Make sure that the valve and actuator are in the same position.
- Install mounting hardware on the valve, but do not tighten bolts at this time.
- Mount the actuator to the valve and tighten the actuator screws using nuts & bolts.
- Remove the actuator cover and wire the unit by using a wiring diagram inside the cover.
- Turn On power to the actuator.
- Operate the valve to the close position and then to the open position. Check the alignment simultaneously.
- Replace the cover and secure all screws.
Q. Is the product corrosion-resistant?
A. The enclosure features thermally bonded polyester powder coating to offer superior corrosion and scratch resistance.
