Working Mechanism:

- Fill crushed ice in a container. Fill the water in the container till the ice is fully submerged. Add extra ice till it is packed tightly at the container's bottom.
- Insert the thermometer's stem into the container without letting it touch the container's bottom. Let the temperature stabilise for approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
- If the unit does not indicate 32 degrees F (0 degrees C), slowly turn the calibration screw right to increase the temperature or left to decrease the temperature using a flathead screwdriver till the thermometer shows 32 degrees F (0 degrees C).
