Working Mechanism:
- Insert fork tines of a fork truck into the fork pockets of the unit and then tighten the tine locks by turning them clockwise.
- Attach the carriage strap / safety chain to the fork truck without any slack for preventing the unit from sliding off the forks.
- Open the drum cradle & securely lock the drum into the cradle between the upper & lower drum rings.
- Remove & place the chain from the storage compartment inside the forklift cabin for easy access by the lift operator.
- Raise the forks & the attached drum a few inches from the ground for transporting it to the dumping location. Users should pull the lower segment of the chain towards themselves when rotating the drum forward and pull the upper segment of the chain towards themselves when rotating the drum backwards.
- Rotate the drum back to the upright position after it is empty. Move the drum to an offloading location and then set it on the ground. Open the drum cradle and remove the emptied drum. Store the unit in a dry, indoor location.
